Our History & Evolution Our journey began in 2006, driven by the vision of Arthur (Art) Paetkau, who founded Eagle Mountain Structural Insulated Panel Systems (EMSIPS). With a passion for innovation, Art pioneered the development of high-quality insulated metal panels, setting a new standard for thermal efficiency and structural integrity.
In March 2017, a pivotal transformation occurred when WGI Westman Group Inc. acquired the manufacturing assets of EMSIPS. This strategic move allowed us to scale our production capabilities and solidify our identity under a new name: Artspan Inc. This name not only accurately describes the structural “spanning” capability of our products but serves as a lasting tribute to our founder’s pioneering spirit.
Innovation & Manufacturing Proudly Canadian, our operations are based in a state-of-the-art 32,000-square-foot facility in Winkler, Manitoba.
